I came up with the idea of a Greenhouse while I was riding my bicycle through the Greenhouse Cities of the Netherlands.
A friend of me came up with the idea to make a Bamboo construction for the Greenhouse like the “Bamboo Greenhouse” of Associate Professor Hirohide Kobayashi of the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies of Kyoto University in Japan.
A greenhouse build from bamboo has a structure that anybody can build on their own, with no need for any special skills or materials.
Solar Energy
To heat the greenhouse in winter the greenhouse will have solarwindows all over to win and promote solarenergy. At night the solar energy will be used to turn the greenhouse into a video wall with plant related artworks (videos, photos, etc). Plants are one of the two groups into which all living things have been traditionally divided; the other is animals. The division goes back at least as far as Aristotle (384 BC – 322 BC) who distinguished between plants which generally do not move, and animals which often are mobile to catch their food.
