Last week I made new photos of the I Will Win series in the RDM Onderzeebootloods in Rotterdam.
In I Will Win – The News I portraited myself in pictures and words as the front page of the New York Times, edition November 6th 2006. In this painting you see me winning the New York City Marathon in a world record of 2:04:30 with as runner-up my anagram Ron Volkaine.
All the articles in The News are fit to paint and about me in the past, present and future. Despite the large number of helicopters above The News, NBC didn´t use the helicopter footage of The News in their broadcast.
