It’s not to late

President Bill Clinton never presented the Kyoto Protocol to the Senate for a vote because he assumed that its ratification would significantly hurt the U.S. Economy.

He was wrong. By not complying with Kyoto, he gave away America’s last hope of retaining the country’s industrial and economic lead into the new millennium. Since there has been no financial or political motivation to invest in cleaner and more sustainable energy technologies in the last decade, we are no longer able to meet world demand for more sustainable product and services.

President George W. Bush should recind the $ 200 billion bill to finance the war and instead focus these funds entirely on helping the vulnerable American economy. With a revolutionary Environmental Economy Bill, it may be possible to stop the dollar’s fall, the rise of oil prices and the continued closing of our outdated industrial complex.
